Hey all. Nothing too new to report. Christmas is just around the corner. Jonathan is getting into anything & everything. Walks everywhere & at times tries to run. Kind of funny. We shall see how he does with Christmas & getting presents & seeing another Santa...... That's all for now. I will be on probably in the new year.

Well, my little boy looks like a 2 year old. He is wearing the same age clothing too. We had his 15 month appointment on Saturday & his weight is 29 lbs & 14 oz & is in the 96% of weight. Height is 33" & in the 92% of height. He is advanced in his walking. Dr in his years as a Ped hadn't had a patient in the big bed by 15 months. It was 18 months or up. We have added a new word to the vocab. Actually try 2 words. Thank you. It comes out as "ank u" but very much a thank you. Started on Friday when he was with my parents. My dad would always say thank you whenever Jonathan handed him something. So, he started saying it whenever he was given something. Pretty cool.
Personal: My weight is at 191.2. Looks like I gained a couple of ounces. Will probably be more after this week. Happy Thanksgiving to all.

Oh, yeah. I weighed myself on Sunday night & was at 190.8. I am not sure if I really weigh that. Digital scale but I don't feel I weigh that. I feel that I weigh more than that..... Weird. Oh, well. Till next time.

Well, a bit has happened since the last time I was on here. Jonathan has started walking on his own. On Friday to be exact. Still getting used to the idea of walking. He has added a couple moe words to the vocab. Duck, Doggie, Hi, Hey, tried saying grandpa. Got his 1st hair cut on Saturday. To see pics, visit www.dropshots.com/MelBruck

I am down to 190.8. I am not sure if that is accurate or not. I may have to get a real scale. No more of these digital ones. I am really questioning that.

Mom has more spots on the back of the neck & back to add to what she already has; spot on the left breast, spot on the left lymph node on the neck, spot in the left chest region. Plus she has a very small on in the back of the brain but will be doing the cyberknife procedure on Wednesday of this week to take care of it. A laser surgery with no real recovery or numbing or going under stuff. She has had now 2 chemo treatments & is good so far. Only the beginning.

Other than that, that's all that is really going on. I am good & the rest of the family is good.

Well, not a whole lot going on. I have lost weight. I really didn't want to loose it this way but I did. I am down to 192.2 last Thursday. Not being eating a lot. But I hope it gets better. Should be finding out what the best treatment options for my mom will be...... That's all for now. Short & sweet.

Well, we totally skipped a month. Sorry..... Jonathan had his 1st b-day party on Saturday August 19th. Had a fun day. Smished his cake more than eating it but still, he made a mess. He just turned 13 months on Sunday. His 1 year stats are 28 lbs. & 32" long. No longer off the charts but still at the 98% for both heigth & weight. Big little boy. What else. Oh, yeah, so tomorrow is our 3 year anniversary but can't really celebrate as I have my mom on my mind. Here is the reason why:
After spending the past almost now 2 days in a fog, trying to think about anything but this, praying that it isn't so, hoping & praying, I am starting to take each day at a time. Saturday my husband & I were informed that there is a possibility that my mom may have cancer. What type, don't know; yet. Won't know the results till Thursday I believe. It had started about a month ago. My mom had gone through 2 treatments of antibiotics with somerelief. It started with a small lump on the left side of the neck. Grew, got red, went down into the left chest area. Has only been able to wear shirts, nothing underneath. But my mom has gone through a lot of tests & now just waiting. Which is the hardest thing to do. But the surgeon who operated on my mom a year ago on her hernia, said, "It's all in God'sHands." What a thought. What a blessing for the doctor to say that. He said he hopes it isn't that. But God is in control. I know that but is still hard. I had a feeling something was up when I noticed the lump acouple of weeks ago. Just never expected cancer. I was sort of prepared. Told Bruck right away when I noticed it. But how does one prepare besidesrelying on God? I ask for prayer for my dad. For obvious reasons, his soulmate for almost 40 years. Pray for my husband as he is not taking this well. He has gone through losing both his mom & real father to cancer; mom having 2 types of cancer. I know he is doing his best to not dwell on it too much but again how do you do it besides praying? Pray for me. Goodness, it is my mother. Yes, we had so many times of my growing up & myearly 20's where we butted heads but I don't know what I would do if I lost her now. Not now but in a short time.... Pray for Jonathan, he doesn't understand. But you know how much he loves his grandma & grandpa. You can see how his face lights up when they come in every Saturday to spend time with him. He is 1 & very young to really understand what is going on. I am thankful that my parents can come & enjoy him. I pray that that will be a continuing thing for a few more years. Prayer for my mom as she never expected this. Comfort for her. Comfort for all of us once the news is revealed. I never expected to be the one to write & ask for prayer for someone who might have cancer. Of course no one does. I know God is in control. I know that everything is in God's hands. I am praying that it is not cancer. But I have 3 long days to think & to pray. The timing is so off. Our 3 year anniversary is on Wednesday. But at this point, I am thinking only of my mom & that if it be God's will that things will be good. Only time will tell.

I know I haven't been here in a small while but I have been busy the past couple of weekends. No rest for the weary.... Unfortunately.... But Jonathan now has his 5th & 6th tooth popping through. Top front finally. This guy went out of order. Normally, kids get their bottom 2 in the front, then the top 2 in front, then the sides next to those.... Nope, he went, bottom front 2, one on each side on the bottom & now the top..... My stunt man has had another fall while furniture walking & scraped up his face. Too cute. That's all for now.

Jonathan has just popped through over the weekend a 4th tooth. On the bottom next to the 1st 2 that came through 1st. But still no top teeth at all. Ah, well. Well, another new accomplishment of my son is now twice he has pulled himself into a standing position without any help. Yeah. He will soon be furniture walking. How time flies when you are having so much fun with a little one.

No weight as I got ticked at the scale. Haven't changed the batteries. I will by the weekend.

Well, Jonathan has turned 10 months old yesterday. Which means in 2 months, he will be turning one. Wow, where has the time gone. Yesterday he did a 1st. He pulled himself into a standing position all by himself. Only that once. Hasn't done it since but I think it was he wasn't sure what happened........ Well, that's all for now.

Oh, yeah, jury duty, had to do that earlier this week. What fun. Not. Dumb case. The defendent hung himself when he represented himself. Plus it was proved he is a liar. He has been in prison too many times. Oh, well, he got found guilty on all 4 counts of aggravated battery against cops watching him at another court after that court appearance......

Well, this past Memorial Day weekend was pretty nice. Did get quite warm. Hit 93 on Sunday. Yesterday was almost 90. Today another warm one. But it will cool down for the week. I can open my windows up again. Had the air on for about 3 days. I hate having to run that but got to when it gets close to 90; especially with Jonathan. He wasn't too bad though. We camped out in our backyard in our new tent that we got a year ago & never used till now. That was fun.

I got sick yesterday twice. I think it was from the heat. I work at work today & tomorrow & am off Thursday & Friday. Yeah. I have lost almost 2 pounds. I am now down to 201.6. I am happy as I am working towards at least 180 goal. Yes. That's all for now.

Jonathan's 9 month stats: 26.2 lbs. 31" in length. He is off the charts. He is such a big baby. No shots till his 15 month appointment. Yeah. Wow... Well, now he has a head cold too. & I feel like I am getting sick. Da-Da is home with him today. I am here at work Yippee. That's all for now.

My son is now officially crawling. Not very fast right now but he is crawling. I think he is still getting used to the fact that he can move around now so he is going slow. My goodness, very soon he will decide to start standing & walking. Yikes.... I don't know if I am ready for that but I should be though.....
Weight - I gained a pound. Ah, well, it wasn't overly bad. Could have been worse & gained 5 pounds. But only 1 which is fine for now. So, I am at 203.0.
What else? Nothing I can think of. Mother's Day was nice & quite at my grandmother's house in Indiana. Daddy & son made cards for me. It was nice though.

I have a sitter-upper. We figured out how he was doing that. He would go from laying flat out on belly to knees & tuck them under him till he gets to sitting on his butt. He is also doing a funky crawl. Using his right leg to crawl with his left Knee. Too funny. But he will only take about a couple steps before he is done..... We think he may just walk shortly afterwards. He did try to stand up yesterday without holding onto anything. He fell over, looked at us, laughed, & sat back up. It was too hilarious. Weight last night was 202.2. Gained 2 oz. That's all for now.

Well, Jonathan's Daddy is home. He was soooo happy to see him. I was happy to see my hubby. So good to have him home. Last night Jonathan went to bed around 7:30. I had to get him up at about 8:30 to get my hubby from the airport. But Jonathan stayed awake the entire time. It was great. He didn't get back to bed till almost 11. So he was still sleeping this morning when daddy went in to get him up for the day :) So cute. Well, that's all for now.

Anyways, yep, Friday was quite eventful. Jonathan was playing on our bed & for about 2 seconds both my hubby & I looked outside our bedroom window at our bad dog (kept getting decorative wood from the pond) & at that moment, Jonathan took a nose dive off the bed. Hit his head on the dresser. Started crying but when we picked him up, he then just wimpered. He was fine but he had the nastiest goosegg on his head. Now just a couple little red marks. But he was soooo fine. Still laughing & playing & everything. Did keep an eye on him for a couple of days. Only had to give him Tylonel twice that day. That was it. He is one tough little boy.
Well my hubby is out of town for a work conference in Florida. Left yesterday morning. Was okay. He won't be returning till Wednesday night. Then this morning I got this cute little e-mail from my boy. (not really but it was cute.) Here it is:

Mommy,
I know that Daddy will be home in a few days but I miss him already, I am so glade you stayed home with me, I am looking forward to the time we will be able to spend together.
Mommy can you do me a little favor please?
I know you will do it if you can, can you please let me smell daddy's shirt you can ware it too if you want it will remind me of what daddy smells like.

Other news is 2 weeks ago when I weighed myself I was at 205.8. Last night when I weighed myself I was at 202.0. Yep, lost even though I really wasn't trying too much or anything like that.... Did a bit of walking too.

Well, Jonathan is now saying dada, mama, nana. Moving along on his words. Keeps getting to his knees but can't go anywhere yet. Still pushing backwards on his belly & rolling everywhere. Being a cute little guy. Just started to slowly filter in the Stage 3 foods. Not completely but a little here & there for him to get used to them. Still feeding the Stage 2 till they are gone. But slowly will be doing the veggies & fruit & cereal on weekends. Been doing the dinner during dinnertime. That's all for now.

Well, 2 days ago, Jonathan said da-da; 3 times. Yesterday, he decided to say dadadadadadadadadadadadada. So, now that's what he says a lot now. He is working on the mama part but he only gets to ma. That's it for now. Nothing else new to report.

Well, nothing too much going on. Jonathan continues to amaze us with what he does. He is really cruising with his pushing backwards type of crawl. He also likes to butt scoot. He did do something that was a 1st for him. I was out with my mom when my Hubby & my Dad went to get Jonathan up from his afternoon nap. They found him kneeling in the crib holding onto the side looking out all over the place. Yep, it was definately time to lower the crib matress. The little sneak. Well, that just shows that my little baby is growing up. & fast. He also had gotten another cold that showed itself on Saturday. So we didn't make it to church because of his cold. Poor little guy.
Well, I weighed myself & gained 4 more oz. Up to 205.8. Better than pounds. So, I need to push myself to stick with this. I really just want to get back to 160 pounds. But I need to stick to it. Be good & such. We shall see how it all goes.
Had a busy weekend. Got some flowers for the backyard. Just need to get them planted. We had gone to Lowe's & I found a post light for $10. So excited. Slowly the backyard is getting to where we want in the way of privacy & such. But still a ways to go. Still need to get flowers for the front of the house. Still deciding what I want. Got marigolds for the island in the backyard since they did so well last year. Got pansies for the barrel that sits sideways by our pond. Also got geraniums for the pot by our little arbor thing. Still deciding what to put in front. Still have several more pots to figure what flowers to put in.
Also, tilled the garden so that around Mother's Day we can get some veggie plants to get our garden growing this year. Going to do better with it this year. We shall see what happens. At least the garden is ready to go.

Easter has come & gone. Jonathan had a busy day Sunday at Great-Grandma's house. Still pretty tired from that.
I weighed myself Sunday night, so I think the scales at the doctor are off. Or else mine is. One or the other. But here is where I stand now. 205.4. I lost 2 oz. now..... Yeah.

Well, I see it has been a while since I last wrote here. Yikes. My bad. Anyways, so much has been happening.
Jonathan now has 2 teeth. About 3 days after the 1st tooth showed itself, the 2nd one right next to it started showing. So, he now has 2 teefers.
He has started clapping with us. He can wave. He has all of a sudden decided to start turning onto his belly at night & sleeping that way. He is also starting to like being on his belly. He also is trying to scoot a tiny bit, backwards. Not much though. He will also turn around on his behind when sitting. Hasn't tried to sit up by himself from the laying down position. But in due time. Better start baby proofing for him because before we know it, he will be moving.... He has also done the wheelbarrow whenever Daddy picks up his legs. He has the locked elbows down. Just need to work with him getting onto his knees in the crawl position.
I haven't weighed myself since my last post. But yesterday if the scale was right at the doctor's office, I am now at 202. So, I will check Sunday night & see if it is correct. Should be back on track with the Weight Watchers next week. Past couple of weeks have been stressful. Haven't done well with that.
Well, summer is just about upon us. Has been nice all week. In the 70s & such. So glad to have the heat off & the windows open in the house. Get the sickies out for good. Plus it has been helping Jonathan sleep really good at night with him being in the fresh air. He was outside a lot the past few days. Monday, he went for a ride in his wagon. So enjoyed it. Loved it too. Later we went for another walk with him & the dogs & Foxy the old girl went into a seizure so we put her in the wagon with Jonathan. It was soooooo cute. He kept touching her & "petting" as if he was trying to comfort her. Not being mean or anything but just touching her so gently. It was so adorable. Wish I could have gotten pics of it.

GREAT NEWS

My little boy is growing up so quickly. He has his 1st tooth poking through. Found it Saturday morning. He usually "bites" his spoon when we are feeding him & can slide the spoon out from between his gums. Well, Saturday morning, the spoon kept getting "stuck". I was wondering if it was a tooth. So, he finished eating his breakfast, cleaned him up & poked my finger in there & felt & found it on the bottom of his mouth. Then of course I had to see it. Yep, visible white. Yeah.....

Weighed myself. Didn't gain or lose. Still at 205.6. Not too bad. But I will be starting my diet today. See how that goes.

Friday of this week is a me day. It is going to be my b-day & I am 29 & holding + 1. Supposed to be warm around here again by the end of the week.

Well, a few things have happened since I was last on here. I haven't weighed myself but I plan to tonight.
Over the weekend, my parents took us & Jonathan to the mall & he had his picture taken with the Easter Bunny. He also go his 1st pair of shoes. He had shoes smaller than the ones we got but they weren't wide enough. He really liked them. They are the light up ones. He really does a pretty good standing up in them up against the couch or chair. My 7 month old is now into 12 month clothing. I figured he will be in 18 month clothing by Easter.
Well, that's all for the time being. Can't wait for spring-warm weather to be here. We had a day of really nice weather; temperature was in the 60s. Had the windows open in the house to air the house out.

Hello all. Not too much going on. Last week I think it was or the week before, I can't remember now. Such a blur. I got papers in the mail from my ex-fiancee who is appealing claiming to have new evidence that I fabricated everything; such as that we were married & that I married B illegally & that I was never raped but I have the records from that night that show proof.... Anyways, my lawyer is working everything out & seeing what can be done & such so we don't have to go to court. I really don't want to go but if it gets to that point, then I will go. Enough of that said. I went up again in weight. 205.6. GRRR. Got to work on that really hard..... Worked some more on the scrapbook for Jonathan. He turned 7 months last Friday. Yeah. Hates tummy, no desire to crawl. Loves to sit; can sit unsupported very well. Loves to stand with help. Grandma & Grandpa got him this cool toys that makes lots of noises........... Thanks guys. Anyways that's all for now. Oh, yeah, Saturday was such a beautiful day. Got up to 65 so the windows were wide open to get fresh air into the house. That was so nice..... Now that's all.

Well, not too much going on. Sunday & yesterday Jonathan had a small fever. But today he is doing better. Stayed home with him yesterday from work & kept him home from day care. Poor little guy. He will be 7 months this coming Friday. Wow.... Has time flown by.

I gained a pound. Weighed in at 204.0. Need to stick to the old diet..... Need to start exercising again. Soon I will be able to walk with Madison after work..... Not too much longer we will all be able to go for a walk; B, me, Jonathan, & Madison the dog..... Yeah.....

RS got married on February 13th. Their wedding date was June 18th but they pushed the date & got married sooner. Don't know why & not sure if we will know why.... But I am happy for them.

Little JJ is starting to wear 12 month clothing. This boy is getting so long....

American Idol - Last night I forgot to tape it. So I had to look on-line today to see who was voted off. One gal; Becky; was voted off. I thought she was really good & would have stayed on for a while. That sucks. The rest, I'm glad they are off. Stevie, Patrick, & Bobby. They didn't thrill me in the least. So, it was good to see them go. Kevin will stay on for a while only because everyone thinks he is so cute. & Paula thinks he is squishable. & the "Kitty Pound" or "Paula Poodle Pound" just want to pinch his cheeks. David is from here in Illinois. Chris is just so hot. Bucky is good. Ace is another hot one. Taylor is just unique. Brenna is a little much for me. Not a bad singer but too much hyper & such. Kelli I would like to see her to continue. Beautiful voice & bad home life. Mandisa just kicks Simon's butt. She is cool. Just to name a few.

I weighed at the beginning of February at 208. Last night I weighed myself & weigh 203.2. Yippee. I'm happy. Just need to continue to do good.

Jonathan woke up at 5:30 when my alarm went off & just laid there & played & talked again till about 6:15 when I got up. Not like the 4:30 yesterday morning. Of course he went to bed last night at 7:30. Usually he goes to bed after 8 every night.

Last night Jonathan was Mr. Vocal. Was like that for about 2 hours while playing. Just talking away. B asked who put the dime in his slot??? Then at about 4:30 this morning, Jonathan woke up & was playing & talking away till about 6 when I got up. Quite some funnies with some of the noises the little guy made. Needless to say, I am a bit on the tired side today. Oh, well. That's all for now. Time to go to break.

My post from last week didn't post. Go figure. Well, Jonathan had his appointment on February 10th & now weighs at 20 lbs 3 oz. He is at the 90% of the weight. His height is 28 3/4" & is at the 98% of the height. Which means he is as tall as a 10 month old & the little guy is only 6 months old. Wow..... Didn't like his shots. Was crabby all weekend long. He doesn't get anymore shots till his 15 month appointment. Yeah. That's all for now.

It has been pretty boring latetly. Jonathan will be 6 months old on Friday. He has a doctor appointment on Saturday morning. He will be getting his last round of shots. His next round won't be till his 15 month appointment. He has had the sniffels all weekend & so far this week.... Just think 6 months ago, I gave birth to this cutie pie..... Hey what you going to do... Anyways. Super Bowl commercials were pretty lame. Yes, there were a few good ones but on the most part they were boring or stupid. Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Seattle Seahawks. Yeah, there were a few bad calls in favor for the Steelers. But it was an okay game. Nothing too exciting about it. Anyways, that's all for now.

SITTING!

Friday after work, I went to pick up Jonathan from the day care. While getting him ready to leave, I sat him on the counter to get his coat on him & didn't hold onto him but was there when he fell over to catch him, he sat all by himself for about a minute before starting to fall over. Yeah. I was soo happy. I got home & showed daddy & Jonathan sat again for about a minute with no help from me. We were so happy for him. Soon, he will be doing that by himself. He is growing up so fast.

Here is a cute little funny story. Two nights ago, my son was getting ready to eat his solids for the evening. His daddy brought his jar of pears & had in his hand & said to Jonathan, "Your dinner is served." Jonathan looked at him, & bop, hit the jar out of daddy's hand & laughed. Daddy said, "Hmmph." He then picked the jar up & said, "Your dinner is served." Jonathan hit the jar again out of daddy's hand & laughed. This went on for about 6-8 times. It was so funny & cute. Had to share that. LIFE

Life is pretty boring right now. Been pretty tired of late. Jonathan is doing well. Being a cutie pie as always. Nothing of interest is really going on. E is still having her debates on wedding dates & places & the such. Hey, she has one thing narrowed down. Daisys for her wedding flowers. That's a start. M is doing good. J is doing good also. J is coming back from her mom being in the hospital with a nervous breakdown. Poor gal. Hopefully things work out well with getting her grandfather into a place. She has a daycare for little J. That's a good thing. L is good also. B is doing good. Just tired & sore from yesterday working on the line. Other than that, that is all for today.

LIFE

Well, not too much is happening. Getting back into the swing of things after being out of the office & such for about 5 days. Got the laundry done & things are going back to normal with Jonathan. Jonathan is feeling better. Still has a bit of a raspy cough but his nose is better. Not so clogged. Life in general is pretty good. E got engaged on December 29th. I am so happy for her. No date has been set yet but from what I am understanding, it might be this year. Well, anyways, that's all for today. Bye for now.

Quick & Short
Well, Bruck's grandfather passed away. Left Thursday morning for the visitation. Friday was the funeral. Did fine up till I went up to view one last time. I was holding Jonathan while he was sleeping & lost it. Jonathan never got to meet his great-grandfather. Saturday was went to a little bit of sight seeing. Came home yesterday. Had today off & Jonathan went to day care. It was a nice break. A lot of traveling in 4 days. Poor guy, Jonathan did not like being in his car seat for so long. Well, I plan on being at work tomorrow unless I feel as bad as I did today. Called a nasty cold. Yes, ladies I have another cold. That's all for today.

SAD NEWS

Here are some sad news. We are awaiting for news on when Bruck's grandfather has passed. We found out a week ago that he was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. Yesterday, he took a turn for the worse & went into a coma. Doctors are saying that he most likely won't live more than 24 hours. We would go up but we just cannot afford to. We will go for the funeral though. But it is just a matter of time.

CHRISTMAS & NEW YEARS

Well, the 1st Christmas for Jonathan was very well. He did very well; was not cranky like I thought he was going to be. He was a very good boy. I had asked from the family for clothing instead of toys. That is what the little boy is in need of. He is almost 5 months old & has toys for now. I didn't need any more. I needed clothing more than toys. The week between Christmas & New Years we had off from work with pay. It was a nice time to have off. Did some things around the house. Not a whole lot was done. Had my doctor's appointment on Tuesday January 3rd. I now weigh over 200 pounds. Talk about a wake-up call to now lose weight. I have started to work out & am watching what I eat. Once it starts to warm a little, I will be out walking with either my son or my dog, Madison. When it is even warmer that I can wear shorts, I will be out biking.
