Yep, Life Continues to Get More Interesting....................
Why??? Because the cops don't seem to want to help us & the court judicial system doesn't want to help us. So the only person who wants to help us is my BIL's social worker? So be it. Went on a sort of mini vacation to OH without Jonathan & it was nice & relaxing. Really.... Came home on Sunday & find out that the witch came driving by earlier in the day & flipped us off with Jonathan seeing the whole thing. That does it. I'm done having this witch continually harrassing me & stalking me. No more lady. I just took my gloves off & I will be filing a restraining order against you sweetheart. Now how does it feel???
The gal with the financial issues? Things are starting to look better with the daycare issue so there is a praise but still prayers needed for the job situation for her husband.
Other than that, that's about all that is going on.

GRRRRRR!!!
Yeah, life doesn't seem to be getting any better for my friends & family. My pregnant friend lost the baby. She was barely 5 weeks along. In a way, this is a blessing in disguise for her. For many a reasons. My other friend with financial issues & "other " issues? Seems that, for them, when it rains, it pours. My heart really goes out to these people because they are struggling as it is. & then not sure if your DH will have a job after 90 days. & of course my BIL is kind of hoping that if the witch comes driving by again, we can call the cops on her so that she can get a court date & that the restraining order that she took out on him can be tossed & we can file one angainst her just to shove it up her rear so she can feel what it was like for him. But all one can do is pray that these issues will work out for everyone in the end. My thoughts, my prayers, & my heart to them all.

All of a sudden, life is throwing curve balls. Not at me, thank you God, but to my friends. For example, I have a friend who is pregnant & scared & not sure what to do next & such. All I can do is be there for her & pray for her. I have another friend who is dealing with financial issues & "other" things. All I can do is be there to lend my shoulder for her to cry on & to pray for her & her husband. And then I have my BIL who has seen the wicked witch come driving by slowly on Saturday looking at him. What the heck? Why would she come driving by when she put out a restraining order against him good till October of 2009? Why would you think about trying to start trouble or whatever is on her peasize brain when you were the one that filed charges against him because you wanted to keep your mommy happy? Why??? So I am praying & hoping that his social worker gets that witch's butt & the order gets dropped so he can turn around & put one on her. Now wouldn't that suck? Hehe.... So, yeah, in a nutshell, my thoughts & prayers are on all the matters at hand. My dear friends & loved ones are surely feeling down of late. Well, not really down but just down because things aren't going too well. My thoughts & prayers for you all.

Well, today Jonatha spent lunch time with me. I was off from work today & took him up to my building for people to see him since some of them hadn't seen him in a long while. He seemed to enjoy himself. He saw Joanne & gave her a hug & gave her a high five. Well afterwards, we went to Meijer to get some stuff for dinner tonight. We checked out, he got M&M's & we get into the car to come home. I told him, don't open the bag. We get home & he was munching on a couple of them. The little stink pot managed to open them. Even though I told him no. Kids....

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!
My goodness, I didn't think it would take me a day & a half to get logged on here to update. Goodness.... Anyways, here I am. Not a whole lot going on since the miscarriage. We are in the waiting game for the monthly friend (otherwise known as AF) to show up so we can move forward to TTC our # 2. The dr would like for me to wait for 2 full cycles before trying again but I think I will let this month go by. But we shall see. Life is definately keeping us busy. With my BIL being like a teenager stuck in an almost 30 year old body & my son who is 2.5 years old. Yeah, it has been quite tricky & busy & nerve racking but God is helping us get through it all. Thank goodness for that. Well, that is all for now but wanted to get back to updating this more often. I have a few pictures to share from Easter. Enjoy.

Would not smile at all.

POTTY TRAINING
This past Saturday Jonathan learned to say pee-pee. Sunday, while my hubby was at Chevy Vette Fest at McCormick Place in Chicago, Jonathan came up to me, pulling on his diaper & said, pee-pee. I asked him, you have to go pee-pee? So we head to his room, I took his diaper off, put him on his little potty & then trying to find the guard that went on there (all the interest he showed was to play with the potty) & he went pee-pee on the potty. Yeah, it went all over the floor but he went on the potty. That was all that mattered. After he was done, I picked the potty up to put in the tub to get washed & there was the guard; sitting under the potty all this time......
Then Tuesday night, before his bath, he was watching me, & he said, pee-pee again. So, we got his diaper off, put him on his little potty again, with the guard in place, & he went again. My little boy is growing up so fast....... AAAAAHHHHH.
He decided to do this all on his own. Yeah Jonathan.

Hello, some good news & bad news about my mom. 1st, the cancer has not spread to any other organs or parts of the body. But surgery is out as if they were to remove the breasts & lymph nodes the problem would still be there. The cancer would not be gone. That has been a disappointment to my parents as they hoped to have that & be cancer free. She is still having chemo treatments. The good thing is that the cells have not gotten bigger but they haven't shrunk, they are right now under control. Please continue to pray.
Jonathan is so into his terrible 2s now. & he is almost 18 months. Wonder how long he will be in them..... Sigh.

Happy New Year. Well, okay it is a little late but hey, I am here. Weight is down to 189.4. Not bad. But slowly ever so slowly I am getting down.... Will be starting weight watchers soon. That will help. Other than that, Jonathan is getting bigger. Almost ready for size 3T shirts. Bottoms are staying the same. I have been doing a little shopping for him for summer & fall clothes for later this year. Still need to get to Target to use his gift cards at.
Mom is doing good. Test results came back good. I don't know anything more. I hope to find out more tonight. Till next time.

Hey all. Nothing too new to report. Christmas is just around the corner. Jonathan is getting into anything & everything. Walks everywhere & at times tries to run. Kind of funny. We shall see how he does with Christmas & getting presents & seeing another Santa...... That's all for now. I will be on probably in the new year.

Well, my little boy looks like a 2 year old. He is wearing the same age clothing too. We had his 15 month appointment on Saturday & his weight is 29 lbs & 14 oz & is in the 96% of weight. Height is 33" & in the 92% of height. He is advanced in his walking. Dr in his years as a Ped hadn't had a patient in the big bed by 15 months. It was 18 months or up. We have added a new word to the vocab. Actually try 2 words. Thank you. It comes out as "ank u" but very much a thank you. Started on Friday when he was with my parents. My dad would always say thank you whenever Jonathan handed him something. So, he started saying it whenever he was given something. Pretty cool.
Personal: My weight is at 191.2. Looks like I gained a couple of ounces. Will probably be more after this week. Happy Thanksgiving to all.

Well, a bit has happened since the last time I was on here. Jonathan has started walking on his own. On Friday to be exact. Still getting used to the idea of walking. He has added a couple moe words to the vocab. Duck, Doggie, Hi, Hey, tried saying grandpa. Got his 1st hair cut on Saturday. To see pics, visit www.dropshots.com/MelBruck
I am down to 190.8. I am not sure if that is accurate or not. I may have to get a real scale. No more of these digital ones. I am really questioning that.
Mom has more spots on the back of the neck & back to add to what she already has; spot on the left breast, spot on the left lymph node on the neck, spot in the left chest region. Plus she has a very small on in the back of the brain but will be doing the cyberknife procedure on Wednesday of this week to take care of it. A laser surgery with no real recovery or numbing or going under stuff. She has had now 2 chemo treatments & is good so far. Only the beginning.
Other than that, that's all that is really going on. I am good & the rest of the family is good.

Well, not a whole lot going on. I have lost weight. I really didn't want to loose it this way but I did. I am down to 192.2 last Thursday. Not being eating a lot. But I hope it gets better. Should be finding out what the best treatment options for my mom will be...... That's all for now. Short & sweet.

Well, we totally skipped a month. Sorry..... Jonathan had his 1st b-day party on Saturday August 19th. Had a fun day. Smished his cake more than eating it but still, he made a mess. He just turned 13 months on Sunday. His 1 year stats are 28 lbs. & 32" long. No longer off the charts but still at the 98% for both heigth & weight. Big little boy. What else. Oh, yeah, so tomorrow is our 3 year anniversary but can't really celebrate as I have my mom on my mind. Here is the reason why:
After spending the past almost now 2 days in a fog, trying to think about anything but this, praying that it isn't so, hoping & praying, I am starting to take each day at a time. Saturday my husband & I were informed that there is a possibility that my mom may have cancer. What type, don't know; yet. Won't know the results till Thursday I believe. It had started about a month ago. My mom had gone through 2 treatments of antibiotics with somerelief. It started with a small lump on the left side of the neck. Grew, got red, went down into the left chest area. Has only been able to wear shirts, nothing underneath. But my mom has gone through a lot of tests & now just waiting. Which is the hardest thing to do. But the surgeon who operated on my mom a year ago on her hernia, said, "It's all in God'sHands." What a thought. What a blessing for the doctor to say that. He said he hopes it isn't that. But God is in control. I know that but is still hard. I had a feeling something was up when I noticed the lump acouple of weeks ago. Just never expected cancer. I was sort of prepared. Told Bruck right away when I noticed it. But how does one prepare besidesrelying on God? I ask for prayer for my dad. For obvious reasons, his soulmate for almost 40 years. Pray for my husband as he is not taking this well. He has gone through losing both his mom & real father to cancer; mom having 2 types of cancer. I know he is doing his best to not dwell on it too much but again how do you do it besides praying? Pray for me. Goodness, it is my mother. Yes, we had so many times of my growing up & myearly 20's where we butted heads but I don't know what I would do if I lost her now. Not now but in a short time.... Pray for Jonathan, he doesn't understand. But you know how much he loves his grandma & grandpa. You can see how his face lights up when they come in every Saturday to spend time with him. He is 1 & very young to really understand what is going on. I am thankful that my parents can come & enjoy him. I pray that that will be a continuing thing for a few more years. Prayer for my mom as she never expected this. Comfort for her. Comfort for all of us once the news is revealed. I never expected to be the one to write & ask for prayer for someone who might have cancer. Of course no one does. I know God is in control. I know that everything is in God's hands. I am praying that it is not cancer. But I have 3 long days to think & to pray. The timing is so off. Our 3 year anniversary is on Wednesday. But at this point, I am thinking only of my mom & that if it be God's will that things will be good. Only time will tell.
That's all for now. Thank you for letting me spill it all out.....

I know I haven't been here in a small while but I have been busy the past couple of weekends. No rest for the weary.... Unfortunately.... But Jonathan now has his 5th & 6th tooth popping through. Top front finally. This guy went out of order. Normally, kids get their bottom 2 in the front, then the top 2 in front, then the sides next to those.... Nope, he went, bottom front 2, one on each side on the bottom & now the top..... My stunt man has had another fall while furniture walking & scraped up his face. Too cute. That's all for now.

Jonathan has just popped through over the weekend a 4th tooth. On the bottom next to the 1st 2 that came through 1st. But still no top teeth at all. Ah, well. He is really cruising in the crawling & always standing & stuff. Real vocal. Such a character. If you want to see pics, please visit www.dropshots.com/MelBruck. For some reason, pics will not load here. Go figure. But that's all for now.
